Members can access Cevalo facilities from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. To avoid disturbing our neighbors, the arena and round pen close at 9:00 PM. Please notify a Cevalo staff member if you need access during off hours to attend to a sick or injured horse.
No smoking is allowed on the premises.
No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
No glass bottles or glass containers are allowed on the premises.
No dogs are permitted on the premises without prior written consent from Cevalo. Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times.
No one is permitted to enter a stall, paddock, or pasture or assist with the horses in any way unless they are wearing appropriate footwear. All members and their friends and family members need to wear sturdy, clothes toed shoes when at Cevalo. Sandals, flip-flops, high-heels, etc., are not appropriate footwear for around the barn.
No running, ball playing, or loud or disruptive behaviors are allowed around the horses. Parents and guardians should keep the children under their care in control at all times.
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or designated adult while on the property.
Small children who are not part of the riding program must be kept away from the horses at all times unless they are being held by a parent or other adult to pat a horse.
Members and volunteers must go through a Cevalo orientation session appropriate to their experience level before riding or working with horses on the premises, or have a Cevalo instructor certify that they have met the requirements of the orientation.
Horses must be under the supervision of a Cevalo member at all times unless they are in their stalls or turned out in a pasture. Do not leave horses unattended at the tie rail, in the round pen or arena, or allow horses to wander loose on the property to graze.
Clean up after your horses. Deposit all manure and leftover hay in the provided containers. If the container has a cover, please make sure to close the lid.
Keep stall, paddock, and pasture gates closed and latched at all times. If the gate has a chain, make sure it is secured before leaving the area. No locks of any kind are allowed on stall, pasture, or paddock gates.
Only approved and qualified Cevalo members are allowed to provide riding instruction or horse training on the premises.

All riders must wear riding boots, paddock shoes, or other appropriate footwear with an adequate heel.
During lessons, parents and other observers must remain outside of the arena unless asked to enter by the instructor.
No jumping or trail riding
with a school horse without the express permission of a Cevalo instructor.
Do not move any arena obstacles unless directed to do so by Cevalo staff. This includes poles, cavaletti, and jump standards.
Keep the arena and round pen gates closed and latched at all times.
Do not turn out horses in the arena. Free longing and schooling in the arena is okay if no one is riding, but horses must be accompanied by a member at all times.
Do not turn horses loose to roll in the arena unless directed to do so by Cevalo staff, use the round pen instead.
Riders have preference for use of the arena. If you are free longing your horse and someone wants to enter to ride, you must catch your horse an allow them to enter. (You are welcome to continue working with your horse on a longe line.)
Lessons have priority in the main arena. If you cannot longe or ride your horse without distrupting the lesson in progress, you will be asked to move to the round pen or dressage arena.
Scoop the poop and deposit it in one of the provided containers. If the container has a cover, please make sure to close the lid.
Rake the round pen when you are finished. This is especially important during rainy weather.
The arena and round pen close at 9:00 PM—all horses and riders must exit at this time.
Cevalo tack may only be used on designated school horses; it is not available for private use.
Wipe down all tack after each use.
Return all tack, tools, and equipment to their designated locations when you are finished with them.
Power tools and machinery are to be used only by Cevalo staff and designated members with appropriate training and supervision.
