This is a list of some of the features we would like to implement and add to the Cevalo wiki.
Access control groups that we can use to limit access to personal/sensitive information. (CevaloStaff, CevaloAdmin?, CevaloFeeders?, etc.)
Reservation/signup app for private parties. This would be linked to from the main website and available to guests who want to set up a birthday party or other private event at Cevalo. The reservation would include the requested date and time, the age and number of riders and provide a Pay Pal link for paying the deposit. It would calculate the estimated cost based on the options selected. Administrative features would provide a way to confirm or cancel the reservation, explicitly set the cost, assign instructors and helpers to the party, and specify the horses to use. Reservations would be visible to the person who created the reservation, and people assigned to the CevaloStaff group (everyone who teaches or assists with lessons, camps, or parties).
Contact information for all members. (CevaloContacts? -- Ari's going to update the info for us.)
Lesson Schedule app. Instructors need to be able to post the Monthly schedule and ride lists. Students need to be able to notify the instructors if they aren't going to make it to their lesson / record missed lessons. This should also help us keep track of how often the horses are being used.
Camp registration app. If the party reservations work well, it would be nice to move the camp registration over to the wiki, as well. That way, we could automate the process of creating the weekly info sheets that have the camper contact info, ride lists, and assigned camp staff.
The Barn management app still needs work to minimize redundant entries. For example, should made the "provider" entries selectable lists and use a providerForm to enter the contact info once, rather than in every horse entry. Also need to flesh out the record keeping for the farrier, vet, etc. Need to talk to Hallie about how to make this easy to use. (Really need to be able to edit entries for multiple horses in one place, rather than opening and editing each individual page.)
